Excellent track, many thanks

Just a note to anyone having trouble running the VLM_MidOhio_V100_GTR2.exe on Windows Vista.

When installing the track on Vista 64-bit I had to run the exe in administrator mode.

So just right click the exe and "run as administrator".

I get a CTD while attempting to load the track. Also messes up the track selector screen, some tracks can't be chosen and others disappear when MidOhio is in the location folder.
Running XP 32.

guess you know that Virtua_LM won't tell any release dates in advance, but I can tell you that you don't need to have this much patience anymore.

Absolutely fantastic.

Great visuals, great performance, and the track looks pretty darn accurate too. This track looks better than some of the standard GTR2 tracks.

Congrats to all involved, and many thanks to Virtua LM and derDumeklemmer for all their work. Can't wait for LeMans.

I pointed the installer to Location instead of GTR 2 root. All good now. Don't install tracks when tired.

Ah right, I wasn't aware that the 1996 LeMans track wasn't even out for rFactor yet.

So I guess that one will be *some time* then...

I wonder if they have any plans to do a 2008 version (not that there is much that has changed between the 1996 and today's track) just the chicane has had a tweak and the run down to the Esses is now no longer a straight drop, but a sweeping bend.
